Step 1
Stand with your feet in ballet's first position — your heels are together and your toes are turned out. Place your left hand on a chair back for balance and lift your right leg out to the side.
Step 2
Exhale and bring your right heel toward the left heel and pulse up and down, squeezing your inner thighs together. Relax and then repeat on your left side.
