Anyone can lose the weight. You really have to want it, and — above all — you must believe in yourself. Anything is possible!
I'm a mother of two beautiful boys, ages 5 and 8. After the birth of my second son, I had an extra 60 pounds to lose. I'm proud to say I did just that, using the wonderful lessons I learned through Denise Austin's exercise videos, shows, books, and online program. Denise has been so inspirational and truly helped me find success.
I began my journey by making small changes in my everyday routine — just little things that I could stick to long-term. I started counting calories (but didn't obsess about it), I got rid of all the junk food in the house, and I began exercising faithfully every morning for 20 to 30 minutes, no matter what. Working out each morning gets me up and going for the day, and I believe it makes me a happier, better person, especially for my family. It gives me a little time for myself every morning, doing something healthy, before I get my boys out of bed.
A New Outlook
Because of this daily routine, I'm in the best shape of my life, both physically and mentally. Consistency is key! I’ve also been able to give up my bad habit of snacking on junk food. Now I eat fruits, vegetables, yogurt, and cheese sticks — healthy snacks that give me energy all day long. Every day, I read Denise's newsletter and it fills me with so much inspiration. I love her Deniseologies; they keep me motivated! My life changes have made all the difference to me and to my family.
I've worked hard and have managed to lose all the excess weight after having my second son, and I feel better than ever. I have more energy, and I definitely have more confidence in myself.
