When I became pregnant with my son, I weighed about 170 pounds. I had been trying to get motivated and lose weight for a long time, but it just wasn't happening. For me, pregnancy was the perfect excuse to eat anything and everything I wanted—and believe me, I did! By the time my son Hunter was born, I had ballooned to a whopping 240 pounds and wore a size 26.
Much to my dismay, I lost only 6 pounds following the birth of my son. This was not what I had been expecting, especially since he weighed in at 7 pounds 5 ounces. I once again vowed to lose weight and get in shape. I began trying every diet and exercise program known to man. Nothing worked. I would lose 5 or 10 or even 15 pounds, and then my motivation would go right out the window. Pretty soon I'd be right back where I started: discouraged and unhealthy.
Then, one morning, everything changed. I was up early flipping through TV stations, and I happened upon Denise's Morning Stretch show. I thought it looked like something I could do, so I gave it a try. The next morning I again woke up early and did my best to keep up with Denise. I started following Denise's nutritional tips and kept at the exercise show. The weight started to come off. After a short while, I began doing the second show, too.
Now, three years later, I have kept the weight off. I am 150 pounds, and I wear a size 6 or 8. I still buy all the Denise videos that I can find, and am especially excited about trying her new ones! Denise's workouts have truly helped me change my life.
