Hi Everyone!

It’s Awards Show season and with the Oscars this Sunday night you’re probably going to be sitting and watching or maybe even attending a viewing party with friends.

I am going to be watching the show with all my family and extended family—my brother and sisters, too.  We are all so excited because my brother Michael and his wife, Karen, are flying in from the East Coast and spending the weekend with us.  So we are having all of us five kids together—my three sisters and our brother!  We’re celebrating his birthday on Saturday night and then watching the Oscars together on Sunday as a family.

If you are at home watching the Oscars, make the most of it. TV time can be healthy time! Instead of sitting around on the couch, take time to work on your lower half and make it your better half with a few butt taps!  Go to my video on Facebook videos for an example:  Watch My Video On Facebook Here

And while you’re at it, here’s a healthy snack idea for you to make as an appetizer:

Denise Austin’s Veggies With Cheesy Herb Dip

Fresh, chopped herbs are stirred in to creamy cottage cheese, then served with sticks of crisp, freshly cut veggie spears

1/2 cup low-fat cottage cheese
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh herbs or chives
1 to 2 cups sliced carrots (or cucumber slices or colorful bell pepper strips or celery)

Mix the herbs into the cottage cheese. Dunk the veggies into the cottage cheese dip and enjoy!

Have fun watching the Oscars!

Love always,
