Nothing makes me feel happier than time spent with close friends and family members. It helps recharge my batteries and reminds me of what life is all about – love, companionship and simple pleasures. It is important to have – and to be a part of – a positive support system, especially when a loved one is going through an event such as being diagnosed with breast cancer.

Listen to her knowing that she may not want advice, she may simply need to vent or get her mind off her treatments.
