Do you want more energy? Do you want to feel great? Water and oxygen are the keys to feeding every cell in your body, giving you great energy and helping you feel better. Staying hydrated is so important in so many ways. I recommend drinking about eight 8-ounce glasses of water each day to maintain healthy hydration, especially when you’re trying to lose weight.
This is what I do, I have a glass of water as soon as I wake up in the morning with a squeeze of lemon (great for digestion!), then before every snack and every meal. This makes it a healthy habit. I also recommend eating plenty of fruits and vegetables. Their high water content will help you to stay hydrated, plus they’re so good for you in so many other valuable ways. I have an Aquasana water filter system that I keep on my counter, which means I don’t have to carry a million bottles back and forth to my car, it’s convenient and tastes great, and it allows me to use the water in my house which is great for the environment, too. To jazz up my water, I add sliced cucumbers, mint, strawberries, or orange slices. I also try to keep water with me everywhere I go–in my car, at my desk, in the kitchen, in the bathroom, near my bed and, of course, right nearby when I’m exercising. All great reminders to drink up! The more you see it, the more you drink!!!
