I loooove strawberries – they are so good for you! Not only are they are an excellent source of vitamin C and fiber, they promote heart health and protect against inflammatory diseases… due in part to all the antioxidants they have! Plus they are good for your skin! I use strawberries in salads, smoothies, put on top of yogurt or granola, and most definitely as a healthy sweet treat like this summer daiquiri recipe! Plus lime juice is a good source of vitamin C, and adds just the right amount of tang to this drink.
This drink is a fun one to serve to guests, and can even be a post-workout treat! You will need:
1 ounce fresh-squeezed lime juice
3 ounces of fresh strawberries, with the stems and leaves removed (you can use frozen, but try to find an option without sweetened syrup, to help keep the calorie and sugar count lower)
About 1 teaspoon of sugar (optional)
Then all you do is fill your blender with the ice, and add the rest of the ingredients. Blend until smooth and enjoy!!

Hi everybody! Welcome to my home and I’m so excited to share with you one of my favorite non alcoholic quick and easy strawberry Daiquiri. Yes, it’s all part of our Summer Slimmer Challenge. Whoo. Okay. First thing you need of course, is strawberries, either fresh or frozen, and they’re a little bit of lime juice and a little bit of sugar, and so it’s that easy. So put it all in a blender and blend it all up. I always like to save one for garnish. That’s it. Lime juice is so good. adds so much flavor, a little bit of sugar, and then we mixed it all up.
Oh, okay. Wonderful. Strawberry. So good in light and refreshing and you deserve it. Yes you do. It’s beautiful. Top it off with a little bit of a fresh strawberry and enjoy happy summer. Everybody stay healthy and fit forever.
