3 Simple Steps To Healthy Habits In 2026
Hi everyone! It's just about that time when people who made New Year's resolutions start to drop them - making this the perfect time to create new goals that fit your lifestyle! I am a firm believer that with a little patience and repetition anyone can create a healthy exercise routine that once you start, you will stick with! Try my three tips below to get started on an exercise plan that your body and mind will love in 2026!
1) Do the workouts that you enjoy. Whether you like to do yoga, love walking (try the Walking Program in my Fitness Membership!), a more upbeat dance routine or my favorite, pickleball, doing what you enjoy makes it easier to get movement into your everyday life. My Fitness Membership has hundreds of workouts in a variety of options that keep exercise fun and motivating - I am right there working out with you whether we are lifting weights, doing aerobics, or stretching our bodies with Pilates and yoga!
2) Figure out what routine works best for your lifestyle. I put my workout clothes out the night before and then get up and get moving! This works for me because it gives me no excuse to not exercise later in the day… give it a try, and if a morning workout is not for you figure out what time of the day fits your routine. Then, put that in your calendar, and give yourself a reward when you complete your workouts!
3) Find your pace. If you're a beginner or getting back into exercising, take it slow, break up workouts into smaller more manageable sessions, and stop if you're feeling overwhelmed. It's better to get a little bit of exercise than none at all - as I like to say “every little bit counts!” My Fitness Membership has all levels of workouts from beginner to advanced, and I have 5-, 10-, 20- and 30-minute workouts so you can choose a session that fits your level of comfort! Start small, and work your way up - your body will thank you when you look and feel amazing in just a few months!
