Laurie's Amazing 25-Pound Transformation!
One of my favorite things about what I do is seeing the AMAZING transformations of my community! It is nothing short of inspiring. Here’s a great story from Laurie on how she lost 25-pounds on my 10-Week, 360 Plan!
I just completed Denise's 360 plan and lost 19 pounds in 10 weeks! After years of adding on pounds, something finally hit me last Mother's Day. Over the years, the pounds added up and I visited her web page and learned about the new 360 program. I used to exercise regularly with Denise on cable TV and was devastated when it ended around 2008. I mentioned the 360 program to my husband and he said he'd buy it for me as a Mother's Day gift!
I loved the diet portion of the program because it helped me improve my eating habits. I cut out Cokes, chips and desserts. For two weeks, I followed the daily suggestions but by the third week, I got in a routine and ate mostly Denise's oatmeal recipes for breakfast and picked a few of my favorites for lunch. My kids liked Denise's dinner recipes, especially the turkey burger. On weekends, I often made the oatmeal/ greek yogurt pancakes. I cheated a little-a couple glasses of wine on the weekends and a slice of birthday cake or other dessert here and there did not stop me from losing weight. I got my sweet tooth fix by making iced tea with stevia and a little Agave.
The videos were excellent. The level 2 videos seemed a little harder than the cable shows I remembered, but I was able to keep up with most of the moves. (Note: I also walk my dog for 30 minutes a day.)
The results are better than I expected! I can now wear some of my favorite clothes I refused to part with years ago. I feel great and have more energy and my mom says my skin looks better. I lost a full size and I'm now a solid 14. I'm still working on losing more and started using Denise's DVDs to continue on my own. Thanks so much, Denise!
