CONGRATULATIONS!!! You did it! You completed my 14-Day Summer Slimmer Challenge! I hope you had as much fun as I did - I did each workout every morning, and I feel terrific! That's one of my favorite things about my online plan - you can do it anywhere, anytime! But now it's time to celebrate... with Sangria! The kind with WINE!! A little celebration is in order, and Sangria is the perfect summer drink to toast to goals met! It is a great drink to make for a large gathering, and you can easily make a mocktail version with non-alcoholic wine. I like white sangria in the summer, so check out this recipe. You will need a large pitcher so grab that, then get these ingredients ready:1/2 cup red raspberries1 lime, sliced1 lemon, sliced1 ripe green apple seeded and cut into wedges1 cup sliced peeled fresh peaches1/2 cup sliced fresh sliced strawberries1/8 cup raw sugar1/4 cup brandy1 bottle of white wineSoda water or club sodaIceThen all you do is add all fruit to a large pitcher, then pour in the brandy, sugar and white, and stir to mix. Ideally, refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours before serving, to let the flavors meld. Then add ice to glass, add some fruit to the glass, pour in the mix and top with club soda to taste. Enjoy! And don't forget - if you are not yet a DeniseAustin.com member, START TODAY!! Yay! Now we can have a fabulous week with some Sangria - you deserve it! Have a little white wine. First of all, all you need is some fresh fruit. I've got red raspberries, limes, lemons, apples, strawberries and peaches. And then you'll have a little sugar, a little brandy, club soda, and of course some white wine. So to begin, I have all of my wonderful fresh fruit in a pitcher. And then all you have to do is add some sugar, add a little brandy and then add your white wine. It tastes so good. It's so summer. Yay. And if you're not drinking, you could have a nonalcoholic white wine. And then mix it up real good. Mix it. And I actually liked to refrigerate it about three to four hours. So all of the flavors of the fruit get into the wine and it melds so beautifully. Even overnight. Then pour some in, it smells so good you guys. And then I like to top it off with a little bit of club soda. On the very top. Oh, so good. You could actually put a little more of your favorite fruits inside to top it all off. It tastes so good and it's good for you - with the fruit - enjoy you guys and congratulations! Yay! Happy Summer!
