Ingredients

1/2 cup certified gluten free old-fashioned rolled oats
1/2 apple, chopped
1 1/4 cups water
1/4 cup chopped walnuts (or any preferred nut)
2 tsp. chia seeds (or additional 2 tsp. chopped walnuts)
2 tsp. maple syrup (or honey or coconut nectar)
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. Add the oats, apple, and water to a microwave-safe bowl and prepare the oats as directed on the package.
2. Stir the walnuts, chia seeds, maple syrup, and cinnamon into the cooked oatmeal.
