Summer Slimmer Challenge: Fruity Protein Smoothie

Today's delicious smoothie is from my Whole Body Plan, and it is SO PERFECT for when you need a nutritional boost before or after you work out. It's a Fruity Protein Smoothie, with a great combination of yogurt (an excellent source of protein and calcium), almond milk, fruits and veggies, almond butter - a healthy fat and protein source - plus honey if you want!  This is perfect for breakfast or lunch, and is definitely a great way to replenish after today's Summer Slimmer Workout - the LA Strength Training Lean, Toned & Totally Fit Workout, which is going to to kick your booty! So this is the PERFECT day to try this smoothie recipe! Check out what is included and how to make it, below!

Fruity Protein Smoothie

1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/2 cup milk

3/4 cup strawberries (or 3/4 cup any preferred fruit)

1/2 banana

2 handfuls spinach or kale leaves

1 Tbsp. almond butter

1 tsp. honey (optional)

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add more milk for a thinner smoothie - enjoy!

Hi everybody. Happy Summer. Yes, I'm so happy you're here with me. I'm here to make you a wonderful fruity protein smoothies. So good to wake up in the morning. You have this and feel energized the entire morning. Okay? All you'll need is some strawberries, banana, Almond Butter, plain yogurt, and since spinach, and then almond milk. Okay, so let's begin. All you do is blended in a blender. Put it all in, and you could do Kale if you have it, whatever you have. I always like a little spinach because I like spinach and then it happened. Banana and almond butter. It's nice and thick, but there you have a great routine with the protein from the peanut butter as well as the yogurt. So it's good. Okay. Blend it all up and it's healthy for you. Gives you energy. My Green smoothie with protein and joy.
