Hi everyone! You know I love a positive outlook - it makes everything a little better and brighter! But I also love a positive outlook when it comes to our bodies. Being grateful and forgiving can go a long way as our bodies change, so if you want to feel better about your body, try these four tips!

Focus on what you love about your body. We all have wonderful qualities, but sometimes it's hard to see them and easier to focus on what we think needs to be "fixed." So when you find yourself feeling down about your body, shift your mindset to what you love about it! Maybe you have amazing hair or eyebrows... maybe your legs are strong and powerful... or maybe you have great posture or are flexible! Positive thoughts lead to more positive thoughts, so give it a try!

Respect your body by nourishing it with healthy foods. What you eat can help you feel great about how you look, and that is why I try to eat healthy...but stick to foods that I truly enjoy so I feel nourished and satisfied. I even started a Prepared Meal Delivery to help others eat well! It eliminates the fuss and prep work, and is perfect for anyone who wants nourishment but is short on time. All the meals have high-quality protein and nutrient-dense veggies, are created by a team of registered dietitians and local chefs around the US, and there are plenty of dietary options to choose from. Or if you enjoy cooking, try my EVER BETTER™ Plan for recipes, customized meal plans and shopping lists that make cooking healthy, tasty and satisfying meals a snap! However you nourish your body, just think of it as a way of giving back to yourself!

Protect your body by working out. We all know I love to exercise, and that is because it keeps my body moving, working and healthy! Regular exercise also helps to protect your body against age-related diseases, so give yourself the gift of feeling great inside and out by moving every day. And a tip: if you aren't feeling a full workout one day, don't beat yourself up. Instead go for a quick walk, which is proven to boost your mood!

Thank your body every day. I love this mental exercise! Every day, start at the top of your head, and thank your mind for working. Then move down to your face, and thank your eyes, nose and mouth. Then just keep moving down your body, thanking each part for working as it does. This is a wonderful way to shift from how you look to how your body actually works - a good reminder of how much we can influence our thoughts and actions!

I hope these tips help you become more positive about your body image, because you and your body are worth it!

Let's live EVER BETTER™ together!
