Hi everyone! Every year when summer rolls around, I have people tell me it's too hard to stay on track with a fitness routine. Travel, hot weather, and too many commitments can get in the way of daily life as you know it, but when it comes to fitness, you CAN and SHOULD continue to exercise! Exercise keeps us healthy, both physically and emotionally, so giving up on working out during the summer is just not an option. Read on to see how I bust common summer fitness myths!

Summer Fitness Myth 1: Traveling Makes Workouts Too Difficult

All you need to get fit is 3-5 feet of space... and even the smallest hotel room has that! Wake up and do one of my morning stretching routines, then a series of lunges, pushups (you can do these against the wall if you prefer), and my standing ab workout.  You can do all this in just 15 minutes! Then go for a walk at lunch and explore where you are visiting, and again after dinner - you will have gotten an entire workout in for the day! You can find lots of short, effective workouts in my Vitality For Life Program. Join today!

Summer Fitness Myth 2: It's Too Hot!

Working out indoors is the way to go when it's hot outside!! My Vitality For Life Program offers up a full 8 weeks of workout routines that will help you blast fat, gain muscle, lose weight, and feel and look fabulous - all in the comfort of your own home!!! 6 workouts per week, clocking in at 20-30 minutes, plus short stackables you do anytime. If you really want to boost that booty, tone up those arms, strengthen your core and define those calves, this program is for you! Join today - it also includes a meal plan with fun summertime recipes and wellness content to help you stay positive and energized all summer long. Don't let heat keep you from your health - join today!

Summer Fitness Myth 2: I Have Too Much Going On!

When you are overwhelmed, a consistent exercise program is even more important than ever - regular exercise helps to elevate your mood and can calm you down - helping you to focus on what the day has in store. It also helps to boost your immune system, which stress can wear down. If you can't fit in a straight 30 minute workout session, break it up into two, 15-minute routines. I also like to work out in the morning - I have my clothes laid out the night before, get up and drink my coffee and then get moving! That way I am done and ready to take on whatever is on my calendar. My Denise Austin Membership offers a variety of programs and routines that are simple to follow and will help you stay on track - whether you want an Indoor Walking Workout, yoga and Pilates routines, or structured programs like My Vitality For Life or Summer Slimmer - it's all just a click away. Stay fit and healthy this summer when you join!

I hope I have busted these summer fitness myths for you, and got you excited to exercise this season. You CAN do it, and you ARE worth it!

Let’s live FIT, HAPPY and HEALTHY - together!!
